  • The NVQ level 4 Diploma in Commercial Energy Assessments Qualification allows you to carry out assessments of properties with heating in excess of 120kw and also produce EPCs from site plans for new builds.

Qualification: NVQ Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Non-Domestic Energy Assessments
Usually you will start at level 3 and progress to level 4, however there are exceptions to this rule, so for further information please contact us on 0333 123 4327

The NDEA Distance Learning training course compromises of three elements, the first is a comprehensive set of training course materials that teaches you the theory behind NDEPCs and the surveys required. The second element of the NDEA course includes practical assessment to gain hands on experience. The third is "provision of evidence of competency via portfolio of evidence“ where you undertake 3 case study EPCs and undertake a multiple choice exam.

All Energy Foundation Training courses include ABBE registration, assessment and exams. There is no more to pay.
The Dip NDEA qualification is provided by distance learning backed up by the training that you require. Most candidates start with the pure distance learning package, study the provided materials and undertake their first practice EPC alone. If they are comfortable at that point they send their practice EPC to their designated assessor for formal assessment and progress, with assessor feedback, through the remaining 2 EPCs and complete the qualification.

Whilst it depends upon your experience and aptitude this approach cannot meet everyone’s requirements. Energy Foundation therefore offer training days (that could be 1-2-1) to ensure that you are happy with all the requirements placed upon you and can complete the qualification in a timely manner.

A 1-day on-site guided survey and exam prep day is one addition to the core distance learning package. Another is to undertake one or two days of iSBEM training.

Our experience suggests that this approach meets everybody’s needs in the most cost-effective manner.

Full four day training courses, which can be at your location, are available on request.
