Domestic EPC Training Course
The Dip DEA qualification can either be provided by distance learning backed up by any class or 1-2-1 based training that you require or solely in a classroom-based environment. Most candidates start with the pure EPC distance learning package, study the provided materials and undertake their first practice EPC alone. If they are comfortable at that point, they send their practice EPC to their designated assessor for formal assessment and progress, with assessor feedback, through the remaining 4 EPCs and complete the qualification.
There is no longer any examination for the DEA qualification as our courses are undertaken using the ABBE Cert DEA qualification not the City & Guilds exam-based course.
Whilst it depends upon your experience and aptitude this approach cannot meet everyone’s requirements. Energy Foundation therefore offer training days (that could be 1-2-1) to ensure that you are happy with all the requirements placed upon you and can complete the qualification in a timely manner.
A 1-day on-site guided survey and portfolio prep day is often the best addition to the core distance learning package.
Our experience suggests that this approach meets everybody’s needs in the most cost-effective manner.
Full three day training courses, which can be at your location, are available on request.
All Energy Foundation Training courses include ABBE registration and assessment. There is no more to pay.
