Energy Foundation Remote Learning Environment - Remote Learning Made Easy
Energy Foundation have developed a range of energy assessment distance learning courses to help candidates acheive their chosen energy assessment qualification with minimal disruption to their personal life - and more importantly at minimal cost!
Energy Foundation remote learning courses provide everything a candidates needs to become qualified. Each candidate will have a dedicated assessor to help them achieve the energy assessment qualification, whilst the candidate portal provides each candidate with access to all the references/information sources required to help them develop their NVQ portfolio.
We believe that this new training system will help a far greater number of people to acheive an Energy Assessor qualification in this fast growing market place.
Energy Assessment Distance Learning Courses and Classroom based Courses
Domestic EPC
Energy Foundation provide a distance learning course that will lead to you acheiving your Domestic Energy Assessment Certificate (Level 3) (QCF).
Non-Domestic EPC
Energy Foundation Training Centre has developed a distance learning course that will support candidates in reaching their Non Domestic Energy Assessment Certificate (Level 3) (QCF). The distance learning module is an ideal route for existings DEAs to move through to qualifing as an NDEA.
Energy Foundation also offer a one day training course to upgrade from the NDEA Level 3 to the Level 4 Non- Domestic Energy Assessment Diploma. For more information on this upgrade and the cost please view course information
Operational Ratings Diploma - Display Energy Certificate
Energy Foundation also offer a distance learning version of the course that allows you to qualify in the Operational Ratings Diploma (Level 3) (QCF). This courses is the qualification that permits you to perform and produce DECs for all public authority buildings and public spaces. It is expected that the requirement for DECs will soon to extended to all commercial buildings, at point of sale.

Air Conditioning
Energy Foundation offers courses for qualification in air conditioning energy assessment on both a distance learning and classroom basis. The two qualifications that qualify you to conduct and report air conditioning energy assessments are the Air Conditioning Energy Assessment Certificate (Level 3) and the Air Conditioning Energy Assessment Diploma (Level 4). Solar Panel Installation Training
The Energy Foundation Training course in Solar PV Panel Installation has been developed in response to the marked increase in sales of solar power systems and a demand for knowledge on how to progress installations.
EPC Training for Solar Installers
From 1st April 2012 all homes considering installing solar PV panels will require an EPC. Our EPC for Solar PV Installers training course will ensure that you gain the ABBE DEA qualification to enable you to produce these certificates.

Optional Training Days
Energy Foundation do offer optional one day training courses (if required) These optional one day training courses can support the candidate by providing accompanied energy assessments i.e.an assessor will assist the candidate to complete one of more practical assessments. These training days are available at £300 +VAT per day.
Please note VAT is payable on all course fees.
A deposit of £500 (non refundable) is required to secure your place on any Energy Foundation Training course.
